? ? ? ?During June 4 to 5, the 3rd Airport Construction Summit was grandly held in Shanghai by Shanghai Society of Aeronautics and Shanghai Airport (Group). Nearly 200 representatives attended the summit. ??
? ??30 worldwide leaders in this industry were invited to deliver a speech at the summit, including Xi Shaobo (Deputy Director of Eastern China Regional Administration of CAAC), Li Derun (CEO of Shanghai Airport (Group) Co., Ltd.) and Liu Yanbin (Deputy General Manager of Beijing Capital Airport Group Co., Ltd.). They specifically discussed on such hot topics as current global tendency of airport construction development, innovative mode of airport operation management, design concept of green airport, and development of airport intelligent information technology and safeguarding. They also shared the latest examples of airport construction and management. The summit aimed to establish a platform for mutual study and communication, enlighten and broaden future development of airport construction, and jointly promote better and faster development of Chinese airport cause.?
? ??SDCIC, the “Specialized Household of Airport”, attended the summit as well. As the representative, General Manager Hu Zhengfu delivered a speech at the summit. He introduced the accomplishments SDCIC had made in terms of airport business development and summarized five advantages of airport business—abundant finishing experience, professional management team, stable labour team, extensive supplier resources, and powerful capital support. He remarked that during the implementing period of the “12th Five-year Plan”, SDCIC would take the opportunity to regard airport business as the top priority in future business development, stick to the low-carbon environmental protection concept, constantly strengthen the professional project team, further expand the developmental mode of airport business, consolidate the core status of “Specialized Household of Airport”, and establish SDCIC as a flagship enterprise of airport decoration. ?
? ??It was mentioned in Comprehensive Planning for Traffic & Transportation System during “12th Five-year Plan” Period that by 2015, 70 airports will be built in China, 15 ones will be relocated, 101 ones will be modified, and the investment in infrastructure in various industries will reach RMB 425 billion. As Chinese investment in airport construction is constantly growing, future development of airport industry is confronted with challenges and opportunities. SDCIC expressed its confidence in future airport development and remarked that it would seize the opportunities, face up to challenges, and enhance communication and cooperation, so as to jointly promote better and faster development of airport cause. ?
